How many visits will I need for knee injections?

To treat one knee, you will have seven visits. The first visit will be your consultation and exam. During the second visit, we will do an arthrogram, which is an X-ray image or picture of the inside of the knee joint after a contrast medium (sometimes referred to as a contrast agent or “dye”) is injected into the joint. The third through seventh visits will consist of the injections.
