Dr. Amy Archer
Medical Director

Michael Allman, NP
Nurse Practitioner

Michael is a ANCC board certified nurse practitioner who’s collectively served in the medical community for 22 years. He got his start as occupational therapy technician in 2000 at Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, and worked in this capacity for several years before taking a job at Memorial’s level 1 trauma center and becoming a certified PCT in the emergency department. After working full-time while attending nursing school full-time, he graduated cum laude with his BSN from Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) in 2007 and began his nursing career as an ER/ICU RN. Michael then spent many years traveling to multiple hospitals throughout the country working ICU contracts as a travel nurse before eventually returning home to Savannah to pursue his MSN-NP at AASU. While working full time as an RN at a local prison on weekends, he attended school/clinical full-time throughout the week and ultimately graduated magna cum laude in 2014 with his MSN-AGPCNP thus beginning his nurse practitioner career. He has worked in many arenas as a mid-level provider including occupational health, vascular surgery, wound care, and orthopedic trauma surgery to name a few. Michael has a great passion for medicine and has always loved helping people. In his spare time, he loves being outside playing most any kind of sport, kayaking Savannah’s local rivers, and having always been a music enthusiast, he enjoys singing/songwriting, playing guitar, and producing music with his brother.
